Heart Healthy Living, P.A. is celebrating eight years of offering a unique Heart Disease Prevention Program that is similar to group personal training, but taught by trained medical professionals.

HHL clients love the classes for the medical supervision, group support, hands on education and a scheduled time to exercise. Doctors and the patients’ health care team love the fact that we are motivating those patients who are reluctant to exercise and monitoring for changes in their clinical condition.

Roughly 80% of Americans do not get enough regular exercise and 50% of cardiac patients discontinue exercise within one year following their hospital cardiac rehabilitation program. HHL is designed to be a long-term solution to exercise inconsistency.

Courtney Jordan, M.D., local cardiologist and Ph.D. in cardiac prevention, serves as Medical Director for the program. Heart Healthy Living Exercise Classes are endorsed by respected cardiologists in the Twin Cities metro area.

Lorene Brown M.S., R.N., C.N.S.
